Welcome to my blog. My goal here is to help anyone that wants to DIY find a way to do that. I will admit I'm far from perfect with my ability to DIY, but I have a great group of family members and friends that have much more experience than I do, so if I'm stuck I ask for help. The goal is to help anyone feel more comfortable with any level of DIY project and also show the progression of things I have already completed (screw ups and all).

A little about me. I'm a veterinarian practicing in the state of New York that whenever I can fix things up or make things work that are already there, I try to pursue that. My partner and I are in the process of purchasing a move in ready home that needs a large number of updates. So, as we progress with the updates, I will post and describe the process as best I can here.

Some about the royal "we." My girlfriend (soon to be fiancee) and I are the two that are doing a majority of the work on the house and she may be featured in some of the photos, so don't be surprised. She's a licensed veterinary technician, and yes, we did meet at work.

I have already done a large number of updates to our current home, so if there is a lull or downtime (which we will be having shortly as we plan to move) I will discuss those items in detail. If you have any questions about the process then do not hesitate to ask!
